她不是我的意中人
She wouldn’t have been my cup of tea.
Tim is handsome and capable and very popular with people around him.
朋友们认为他如此的优秀，以至于不得不替他担心一件事。
Tim is almost thirty, but he doesn’t have a girlfriend yet! Is he too busy?
哦，看来他的朋友比较理解他，知道他比较忙！
So they decided to do him a favour.
One day, one of my students showed me a photo of a b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l girl and talked to me about her all the time. Blah, blah, blah.......
Tim终于忍受不了了，非常抱歉的说：
“She wouldn’t have been my cup of tea.
"什么意思呢？她不是我那杯茶吗？想一想，是不是有什么深层的含义呢？tea是茶的意思。not my cup of tea大概是不和我的口味吧。
啊！对了。确切的应该翻译成“她不会是我的意中人”。这是美国的地道说法。
